Macular Society members are being encouraged to review a new website by pharmaceutical company Novartis, which aims to empower people living with age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and their caregivers.

The website, which is part of a wider project called See What’s Next, has been supported by the Society. It aims to raise awareness of AMD and promote the importance of maintaining independence for as long as possible following a diagnosis.

Novartis is asking Macular Society members to visit the site and fill out the short survey at the end of their visit in order to gather feedback, before it officially launches later this year.

As well as information about AMD the site includes tips on everyday living and will also include videos of patients sharing their personal experiences.

When the site is launched there will also be an opportunity for patients to fill out a questionnaire in order to download content specific to their needs.

Visit the See What’s Next website and leave your feedback.
