Book an awareness talk

We have a network of volunteer speakers across the UK who are ready and waiting to deliver an informative talk on macular disease.

Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is the biggest cause of sight loss in the developed world. It affects more than 600,000 people in the UK and there are more than 70,000 new cases every year.

To find out more about macular disease, its prevalence, risk factors, signs and symptoms, as well as the impact it can have on someone’s life, invite one of our volunteer speakers to deliver a talk.

Whether you are a small local group, large organisation, employer, healthcare professional or in education, you need to know about this condition and the help and support that’s available.

There is no charge for this service, but if you would like to make a contribution towards our speakers' travelling expenses, or to help us continue our work, this will be gratefully received.
