  • Starting with a short hill run to the top of Allemuir in the Pentland’s, its then downhill all the way! Heading from hilltop to the sea you take on a good mix of cross country, urban orienteering and road-running while navigating your way to the sandy beach finish on Musselburgh beach.

  • The organisers are kindly donating £1 from every participant entry fee to the Macular Society.

You’ll run past all Chester’s iconic landmarks – roman walls, cathedral, medieval rows, Eastgate Clock, and amphitheatre – before heading out to the scenic Cheshire and North Wales countryside and villages. You’ll then return alongside the River Dee for a memorable finish at the racecourse.
