The Daylight Company

Founded in 1987, Daylight’s mission is to develop ergonomic task lighting solutions for people with sight loss by closely listening and identifying end-user needs. Our lamps provide the appropriate light intensity, colour temperature and spread of light. They can be easily positioned exactly where the light is needed. We incorporate features that are specific to the requirements of people with sight loss, such as tactile switches, no sharp edges, low heat and minimal glare. Currently, we are conducting a pilot study with 100 volunteers to deepen our understanding of the needs of people with sight loss.
