Local support groups
Our groups provide information and support to those with macular disease, their family and friends.
Each one is a welcoming and compassionate place to learn about the support available, build your confidence, and better understand your own macular disease. And, of course, it’s a chance to make new friends who really understand what sight loss is like.
Most of our local groups are currently meeting via telephone conference call, in line with our Guidance for Support groups.
Find about more about our support groups, including telephone groups and those for younger people. Our regional support information tells you about patient information events and gives you contact details for our team out in the regions.
