Local support groups
Our groups provide information and support to those with macular disease, their family and friends.
Each one is a welcoming and compassionate place to learn about the support available, build your confidence, and better understand your own macular disease. And, of course, it’s a chance to make new friends who really understand what sight loss is like.
Most of our local groups are currently meeting via telephone conference call, in line with our Guidance for Support groups.

Ringwood & Fordingbridge Club for the Blind Support Group
Meets Group meets 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, except August. From 2.15 to 4.15pm at Activities Room
Sudbury Support Group
Meets Meets last Thursday of the Month 1:30-3:30pm at The Christopher Centre
Storrington Support Group
Meets Fourth Tuesday of each month 2-4pm at The Old School
Llangollen Support Group
Meets fourth Monday of month 11am-1pm. No meeting in August. at The Hand Hotel
Inverurie Support Group
Meets Third Thursday of every month 10-12pm at Hopeville
South Queensferry Support Group
Meets launches 7 August 2019 First Weds of the month, 2 - 3.30pm (No January meeting) at South Queensferry Library
Banff Support Group
Meets Meets on the last Tuesday of the month from 10.30am to 12.30pm at Banff Library
