Help diabetic macular oedema research

Posted: Tuesday 08 November 2016

Have you been diagnosed with diabetic macular oedema (DMO) by your doctor and been prescribed a course of injections for at least a year? You may be able to help with a research study.

If you own a smart phone and are based in or around London, Liberating Research would like to speak with you about your experiences, for a payment of £180.

They are running a study about your treatment choices, the support you receive and how technology can improve the way in which you manage your DMO. The study will be a 120 minute interview in your home, which can be conducted at your convenience with an experienced healthcare moderator. But, there will also be 90 minute interviews held in a central London office.

All your details are kept confidential. At least 10% of your earnings will be donated to the Macular Society.

Applications for this study have now closed.
