World Sight Day - Stronger together
Posted: Wednesday 12 October 2016The International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) is urging everyone in the eye care industry to pull together to support World Sight Day.
World Sight Day, now in its 10th year, will take place tomorrow on 13 October. Each year the focus is on a different theme, all of which are in keeping with the World Health Organisation (WHO). The Theme for 2016 is 'Stronger Together', encouraging everyone to get involved and promote better eye care for all.
The Macular Society will be exhibiting at Moorfields Eye Hospital to help raise awareness of the biggest cause of sight loss in the UK, as well as promote some of its vital support services.
