Blind Veterans UK

Blind Veterans UK are here to support anyone who has served in the Armed Forces, or who has done National Service, and who is now living with significant sight loss. We help blind ex-Service men and women lead independent and fulfilling lives by supporting them with our in-depth expertise, experience and full range of services. We give veterans much-needed support to adjust to sight loss, overcome the challenges of blindness and enjoy daily life. Our charity has been offering physical and emotional support to vision-impaired veterans since 1915.

British Wireless for the Blind Fund

British Wireless for the Blind Fund has been providing specially adapted radios to visually impaired people for 90 years. We pride ourselves on providing a personal service to each individual who received a new set. British Wireless for the Blind Fund exists to help improve the daily lives of visually impaired people who are unable to afford a specially adapted radio or combined radio/audio, by providing one on free loan where there is clear benefit to the individual.

Calibre Audio Library brings the pleasure of reading to people with sight problems, dyslexia or disabilities that prevent them reading print, through a free nationwide postal and internet service of audio books. We offer a choice of almost 10,000 titles, fiction and non-fiction, recorded unabridged by professional actors and broadcasters.
