6 months free trial membership

The Macular Society has been supporting its members since it was founded in 1987. It is our privilege to serve those with macular disease as well as others including their family and friends.

People join the Society for many different reasons. Some join in recognition of the support they have received from the Society, to enable us to continue to provide vital services, such as our helpline. Some want to join the Society to be part of our voice when it comes to campaigning for better treatments and services, while others are keen to support our work to fund medical research so that one day we can overcome macular disease.

Our members recognise that we receive no government or pharmaceutical industry funding and that we rely solely on donations.

During your no obligation free trial membership you will receive our quarterly magazine, Sideview, which will keep you up-to-date with the latest about treatments for macular conditions and clinical research. It also provides top tips for managing everyday tasks with a macular condition, such as advice on using technology, plus inspirational stories and news from the macular community.

Membership cost £18 per year for UK members and overseas members. Overseas members will be able to view or listen to membership magazines online.
