Thank you so much for looking at our fundraising pages.
Our number one priority is your safety and we urge you to follow the latest government advice.
We know that fundraising is not the only thing that you may be thinking about at the moment! However, we would like to keep you updated about our plans to continue to raise funds, not least through The 2.6 Challenge, to Beat Macular Disease.
We will be postponing all our places in organised sporting events. If you have any questions about this please contact us and we will try to help. But don’t despair! Have you thought of doing a virtual challenge, either in the comfort of your home or outdoors (keeping to yourself as recommended)? It is more important than ever to try to stay fit, so why not plan a series of activities to keep you moving at home throughout the day? Many of you have already signed up to do a virtual challenge. You may now have to adjust how or where you do your challenge so if you need any ideas please contact us.
We know that many of you have signed up to do a Tea for MD. Now that we are not able to meet in groups, perhaps you could hold a 'virtual' tea party, where your guests all have tea and cakes at the same time in their own homes, using technology to chat. Please share with us any photos you take.
We would love to hear any ideas that you have to help us to Beat Macular Disease. In the meantime, we hope you stay safe and well, and wish you the very best.
