Nothing beats a coastal path on fresh spring day!

The Isle of Wight Challenge route takes you along the spectacular southern cliffs, past the iconic Needles, and up to historic Cowes at the half way stop.

For Full Island challengers it’s on to historic Ventnor, and back to our welcome base camp in Chale after an epic 106km journey. Choose from 106km, 50km or 25km distance options.

Your entry includes a range of free food & drink at regular rest stops, and support from medics, marshals and massage teams. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, t-shirt, and a special medal to celebrate your achievement.

  • Full challenge
    £40 reg fee and £575 min. sponsorship
  • Half challenge
    £30 reg fee and £360 min. sponsorship
  • Quarter challenge
    £20 reg fee and £240 min. sponsorship

Please note:

The registration fee for this event is non-refundable. At least 50% of the minimum sponsorship target should be with the Macular Society 6 weeks prior to the Challenge. At this time the Charity agrees to pay a Fee for your place to the Organiser. Failure to meet the fundraising deadline may result in cancellation of your place by the Charity. The remaining 50% fundraising, should be with the Macular Society by 4 weeks after the Challenge.

Visually Impaired Participants

If you are a visually impaired participant Action Challenge offer a 50% reduction on the self-funded entry fee for a guide/support to accompany you. If you would like further details, please contact community@macularsociety.org
