Supernova Forth Road Bridge 2024

On Saturday, 2nd November 2024, the iconic Forth Road Bridge will be closed entirely for you to walk, jog or run 5k. Celebrate its 60th anniversary in a magical, immersive evening of light and colour, and Beat Macular Disease.

If you were successful in the ballot to take part in the very first Supernova Forth Road Bridge, you can look forward to walking, jogging, or running a 5K route, enjoying a series of spectacular light and colour features. As part of #TeamMacular, we'll support you every step of the way!

The event is entirely accessible and, therefore, suitable for all abilities. You decide your pace, whether running at the speed of light or taking your time and snap a few pictures and selfies as you go!

The ballot application for 2024 has now closed, but you can register for 2025 now! The event in 2025 will take place on 1 November.
