Researchers are looking for patients with wet and dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD), to take part in two separate studies.

The first of the two studies is asking for help from patients living with wet AMD, to understand more about their preferences of treatment.

Researchers at the University of Nottingham is undertaking work to develop research and development priorities on how treatment is delivered.

Professor Kevin Webb and professor Alexander Foss are looking to understand what patients would prefer their anti-VEGF treatment to be and where they would like to receive it.

This survey should take around 5-10 minutes to complete and could help researchers focus on new areas of treatment for wet AMD.

Complete the survey.

Meanwhile, patients living with advanced dry AMD and those who support them, are being invited to take part in a survey to better understand the impact of the condition on daily life.

The survey is being conducted by scientific research company Modus Outcomes as part of a global study.

People aged 60 or older who have the advanced stages of dry (AMD), sometimes referred to as geographic atrophy (GA), and are living in the US, UK, Australia, Germany, and France are being invited to participate.

Patients and supporters who qualify will be asked to complete a 30 – 45 minute electronic or telephone survey. Anyone who takes part will be compensated for their time.

If you or someone you know may be eligible to take part email: contact@global-patients.com.
